Description
Banana connectors add a degree of convenience to your speaker termination.
The more ‘solid’ your connection, the better treble ‘focusses’ and transient information is preserved. No common plug can equal properly tightened binding posts for the ultimate connection – and almost all speakers come fitted with excellent, sturdy, 5-way binding posts – but plastic screw terminals on most receivers can’t achieve enough purchase to make a tight connection. Anytime that a plastic screw bends to one side during tightening is probably bad for your connection and your connectors! If you know what I mean, then you might want to fit these banana plugs to fit just your amplifier and simply tin the speaker ends.
Either way, these sawtooth-cylinder type banana connectors do a great job at a very reasonable price! They simply attach to your bared copper end with 2 small grub-screws.
So, let’s work out how many pairs of banana connectors will you need?
